Fouras-les-bains

The peninsula Fouras-les-bains is located at the western end of the mouth of the Charente, running five sandy beaches and its 3 ports on a 4 km wide.

 

Since 1850, the city of Fouras is one of the main resorts of the Charente coast , asserting quickly as one of the favorite resorts of La Rochelle's high society, evidenced by the many villas built at the time.

 

Since the early 1990s, the peninsula Fouras sees his partner to one of the main characters of the game show "Fort Boyard" name, increasing still further its reputation.
